Mine are stainless. I got them on ebay at they were inexpensive. I think they make the car look distinctive.

Go with the s.s. Depends on how you define hard to clean..... nothing special i've ever noticed, just wash along with the rest of the car.......

I had these exact ones you are describing. I thought I'd save a little money and go with the less expensive ones. These were just like they say, you get what you pay for. They were cheap. The "chrome" backing began separating from the plastic within a month or two. Save your money and get the letters from SS Inserts. You won't be disappointed.

That's my 2 pennies.

No pics from distance. Battery is out in digital cam or I'd shoot some for ya. Send me a PM to remind me and I'll shoot some for ya later. Don't want to hi-jack the thread but did you decide on an exhaust plate yet?

You can get the SS ones on Ebay through Corvettes Of Houston. They are on ebay as "coh" and they sell each set for $45. This is the cheapest I've seen thus far. If anybody knows anywhere else to get them for less, please chime in.
