Installed the brushed silver steering wheel logo the other day and I am impressed. However, the white on all the flags have turned a light pink. I emailed Alex, but have not gotten a response as of yet. Anyone else have this problem? I installed as instructed and had no problem with adhesion. I'm also having big problems with the air bag letters sticking.
Are you sure is wasn't pink (or as mine appear to be, reddish-white) before you put it on?
I haven't installed mine yet because all of mine look exactly as you describe except mine have more of a reddish-tint to them (the white areas). There's no way I could put these on, they look horrible maybe it has something to do with brushed aluminum??
I emailed Alex as soon as I got em and he is suppose to send me out another set (steering wheel, door sills, and airbridge).
I haven't put my airbag letters on yet, I hope I don't run into any issues
I was getting ready to order a set of brushed alum. also, in light of this I will hold off until I hear the outcome of your orders. So please keep us posted on how the replacement emblems look when you get them.
I ordered yellow ones, and was expecting millenium yellow, however they are a different hue, more Ford yellow than the orangey look of M.Y., also the R on the airbag had to be stretched to fit around the raised section. I wish I had gone with the brushed aluminum or silver over the yellow... Good service during the transaction and he was helpful before the purchase, just wish the yellow matched the car like my old decals I had on it before. I am sure he will make good on your defect.
I have the brushed aluminium air bag letters and Stering wheel decal. The both look good. Only problem I had was getting the airbag letters to stivk. I used superglue and they seem to be staying on now.

Members, got a reply from Alex. He stated, "No proablems installing below 80 degrees. On all orders starting now he will be sending the double sided tape. I am presuming this is for the air bag letters. On the steering wheel logo he will replace with a brighter white. I don't quite know what this means. Looking at my logo, I see bleed through even into the silver area in some places.
I feel very confident in this company because of Alex trying to apease all of us. There are some problems obviously. some I guess are communication on install. I know when I installed the airbag letters it was close to 90 degrees out, and it was like installing on wet ice. Hope this helps.

Yup... I have purchased several items from alex... some good... others I threw away. He is very cooperative, but slow on emails. My steering wheel decal is ok color wise, but is not sticking very well. When I finally get mad at it, I'll pitch it and look else where.
I spent two hrs. Sunday morning in the garage trying to get the airbag letters to stick. What really chaps me is that I removed the letters I had from Decal Specialties to replace them with these. Those adhered very well and looked good. Despite all the proper prep work, etc. I had trouble with three of letters and two others just aren't sticking well. It seems the adhesive is substandard (at least on the set I got). I am very reluctant to try and put the steering wheel decal on at this point. I e-mailed Alex twice asking to purchase a second set; I might have done something wrong and thought I would give it one last shot. Though, since yesterday, this is the second post I've seen like this...
Mine are not sticking to the passenger airbag either after cleaning with solvents and ammonia. The steering wheel one is fine after the same cleaning, but not the airbag. I have thought about glue, but am not sure what kind.
I have been emailing this company about my order and I have not gotten a response. I sent funds through paypal but didnt get a confirmation from this company or any response. Does anyone have a number that I can call or anything? Thanks.

I've been corresponding with Alex using this email address and he's been relatively quick to reply but keep in mind that he's getting hit with a ton of email/phone calls (due to the issues with the inserts).
I have full confidence that he will take care of us along with this issue
I received a 3D decal that I had ordered for the air bridge last night in the mail. The 3D decal looks nice but does not stick worth a crap. I emailed Alex last night and received a response from him this morning stating that the decal not sticking might be due to heat or humidity, and that he could send out some 3M tape. I am willing to give this a try, but in my opinion this is hardly a satisfactory fix for something I paid $34 plus shipping for.
