I remember seeing a thread on a guy that bolted in his seat hoops in without dropping the rear end and tank. I cant find the thread.
Any help finding it would be appreciated. Or any advise before I glue my hoops in. I would rather bolt them in if possible without disassembling the car.
bolting them in will not be a problem....when you remove the carpet you will see where the tank line is at......it is about 8" down you will be well above that.
I bolted mine in and did not have any issues at all.
i got my hoops from westcoast corvettes and just used self tapping 3/4 inch screws and screwed them right in without having to cut anything ! it took me about 2 1/2 hrs. and came out great !!! [IMG]http://img.photobucket
