Has anyone shaved 100 lbs or more out of the car without gutting the
interior? I would like to reduce the weight of the car to improve the
power/weight ratio instead of increasing HP. For starters, I was
thinking about switching to Sparco racing seats, but I don't how much
weight is saved or if they're comfortable enough for daily driving. Any
suggestions/comments to help me achieve this goal? Thanks.

Wow, that is alot of weight to loose. I have one known item to start, that everyone knows, the carbon fiber hood. I think you would leave the stock rims also.
Good Luck. Interesting thread.
Thanks everyone for the helpful replies. I'll probably start with the
following: racing buckets, lighter battery, lighter steering wheel, and
hopefully, lighter glass all around...
...followed soon afterward by headers, cam, etc...
