Well, after trying them 3 tone and 2 tone, I came up with this 1 tone design. It does not transfer to film very well. When you pop the hood, you don't notice any thing, but when you look close, there they are, Super Stelth Ghost Flames...
The "how to" is pretty easy...
First I searched the internet for flame patterns that I liked, "right clicked and saved as" Once I had the pattern I liked I transfered them into MS Paint Shop and played with the size until I got them to fit the tanks. Then I went to Staples and got the 8 1/2" X 11" Mailing lables and printed the patterns on the mailing lables. Then I cut them out and test fitted them on the tanks and covers. Once I had the fit I wanted I primered the tanks and wet sanded them with 1000 grit sand paper. Then I peeled the patterns and stuck them on the tanks. I shot 5 or 6 coats of Metalic Blue paint on the tanks, about 12 minutes apart. When the last coat went on, I pulled the sticker patterns off the tanks. I let them dry over night and wet sanded them again. Then I shot 4 more coats of paint on them. Let them dry over night and then shot them with about 6 coats of clear coat...that all.
