I have a FOB that is not responding. The other one is fine. I reset by holding the two buttons with no indication (beep) from the car to indicate that it sees the FOB.
Do I need a battery? If so, does anyone know what kind?
On a 2000 the battery for the key fob is a 3 volt CR2450. You can find them at most drug stores. You may also have to retrain the fob thru the DIC. Both of mine have quit working so I looking for replacements. Good Luck, Eric

The battery should be the same, I believe. The owners manual may have the battery type indicated in it. I would say that this is your problem with the fob.
