Default Do wagonwheels have a different offset than thin spokes?

Just picked up a set of OEM y2k thins and they seem to be tucked in much more than my old wagon wheels were. Are they the exact same fitment?

Guess I could take a measurement, put on the old wheel and see myself, but that would have to wait until i get home

Default Wheel offset

You can check it real easy, just lay a straightedge across the inside of the wheel and measure the distance from the straightedge to the wheel lugbolt flange. Do both the wagonwheel and the thin spoke wheel, and see if there is any difference. I am curious, too.

They are!! I noticed the same thing when I replaced my 99's wheels with GM's OEM (not cheap chromed repos) polished wheels.

That's kind of weird. I changed out my Wagons with OEM Y2K's last April. Took the tires and sensors off the wagons and mounted them to the Y2K's, and didn't notice any difference at all. Other than the fact that the Thin-Spokes looked much better. But I didn't notice any difference with the off-sets.

Well, it has to be an illusion I'm getting, because they both measure exactly the same.

Back: 2.75 from face
Front: just over 2.5 from face

Both taken from a straight-edge across the outer-most lip to the back of the mounting surface.

Still like I could use some spacers tho. Like 2" of spacer
