Heres the car I'm going to buy. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...st=null#vdptop
Im sceptical because it has such low miles. On 13,000 miles and its 4 years old. Also is there anything I should look for that are common problems on this car? The dealer said there was a recal on the steering rack, he said there a chance of the wheel locking up, but hes replacing it before I buy it.
The corvette comes with B&B cat back exhaust, B&M riper short shifter, Bilsten shocks, lowered springs, and a cold air intake. And it comes with an API 1 year, 12000 mile warrenty on it. Which covers everything put cosmetic repairs.
But basicly Im going to have him put it on the lift before I pick it up on tuesday and I want to know before hand what are the trouble spots on this car, if any. Any suggests I would greatly appreciate. Thanks!
Like Grumpy said, probably a weekend driver. I bought my current '98 Coupe 3 months ago with only 17K miles on it. Great car with no problems and a clean history. I wouldnt be sceptical of those miles.

don't think you have much to worry about i bought a 99 vert 12 mos. ago with only 5400 actual miles , and i only drive it on weekends so now it has about 11000 miles have fun and enjoy.
I recently upgraded from a 94 to a 2001, which had 2500 miles on it. I preferred to buy from a private seller so I know more about the car's history, but there are many fine C5s out there with limited miles at dealers. I would not let 13K deter me either way. Welcome, you'll be VERY happy. BTW I would not let the dealer mess with the steering column - there is lots to read about the problem, but bottom line is that a Steering Column Bypass is what you need especially if you have a 6 speed.
Thanks guys. Im moving up from a 2003 mustang GT. I have to say wow, that car is so far superior to my mustang in every which way.
Thats funny, My last car was a 2001 Mustang GT Convertible.
Great upgrade. My car insurance also dropped, so you may have a nice suprise when you call yours.
