Extra leather tied under seats?
Just when you think you know every inch of your car.....I was cleaning under the seats yesterday and saw a tube of "extra" leather tie wrapped under each seat. Anyone know what this is for? Repairs?

I just had my seats out to install insulation. It looks like it's wrapped around one of the seat motors -- Probably to protect the carpet from heat and/or from lube seeping from the motor???

I don't think it's "extra leather", but it is the pouch that holds the seat bolster pump and lines.

When I first cleaned my car after buying it used, I saw this and thought the original owner left some gloves under the seat.

Yep,
It's a pump for the seat bolster, and quite costly.

Extra leather
It's not leather, just some left-over vinyl that covers an expensive sport-seat lumbar bladder pump. Do not fork with it, It'll cost you $125.00!
