Nothing. That's the stock pulley with the power steering reservoir in front of that.

Sweet EG..... Love the sound of that cam..... its sooooo cool. I bet you love it! I spent this weekend painting the calipers and pinstriping the outside small CE stripe. I've got some of Mikes new side stripes coming in Carbon Fiber & red.

I love your black outs! Take care, I'll post pics as soon as I can.

I would like to give a BIG thanks to Connecticut and Bill Curlee for all their help and hard work in realising this dream. Also thanks to RPOZ15 and Chucks88 for the moral support during the delicate extraction of the puny stock cam

Thank you all

EG

P.S. And if any Northeast folks need help with any mods - send a PM to Connecticut - he's the man!

I'm willing to bet at WOT, blowing by the RICE will probably age them 5 years or at the very least neck cramps

The funny thing is because it is A> at least 10 times louder than it was before and B> the transition from 1200rpm to idle at 700rpm kills the engine, I had to keep the rpms up at 1500 or above in traffic. So it sounded like I was revving on everyone

This is the first time that my Vette has gotten so much attention - probably not all positive but I don't care

oh wow that is a great sounding setup! I am sure the neck snapping power is equally as intense. Nice background music, its gives great dramatic affect .

Dave, some of the newer C5 alternators have a balancer thing on the end.. Mine doesn't have it either...

Conn and Bill are great guys for helping you with this project.

Way to go Stephen! Now GROND sounds as intimidating as the name implies.

Yes, there is. Visual cat check (I have high flow cats) and ODB II plug in for smog compliance check.

Yeah, that's why I called him a "lucky bastage" . We Californians can't have such an awesome cam (legally ). I think there are only a 1 or 2 counties that are Smog exempt here.

See above - yes CT has smog inspections.

And regarding Viagra... well, best if I do not say anymore...

oops... EG.. hehe sorry, my mistake.. In the video, it doesnt look like there's a clamp on the coupler at the throttle body. It looked to me as it was just stuck on there. Couldnt see it.

Clearly there is and I was mistaken..

Good luck with the new setup... I'm sure you will love it..
steve
