Hey, I'm going to clean up my baby this weekend. 2001 Torch Red Vette. I was going to apply two coats of wax to it this weekend. I was wondering if it would be safe to put the wax on my glass top? Never put anything on it before. Just usually wax the body. Would it be ok to use my regular wax on the glass top or should i get something else? Here is what is use:
Wash Car With: KIT Carnauba Wash and Wax
Wax Car With: Mothers Califorina Gold Original Formula Carnauba Cleaner Wax (Safe for Clear Coats)
Wax Rims With: Turtle Wax Chrome Polish and Rust Remover

If you have polished rims, they are clear coated just like the body. Never use anything harsh on the rims, and use whatever you would use on the body to clean and then protect. In other words, wash them with car wash soap and wax them as you would the painted surfaces.
