I am really thinking of swapping out the C5 sport seats for them, but I want to see what you guys think about the seat compared to the sport seat. Things like durability, comfort, etc...

...hmmm I dont think comfort is a reason to switch from what Ive felt...
they have their purpose...
...however I guess they could have a range of products I have not seen...

Unless you are going to be using them for a tracking vent I dont see the purpose.
I think I might not have a choice anyway if I decide to do road racing courses. Without racing seats I am going o be thrown all around...
Actually a 5 point harness is much more important then a set of seats. The stock sport seats are pretty good for road racing. If you have interest in a set of Sparcos, stop over and we can go over to a local distributor here in town. He has a lot of seats on display.
I had Pro-2000 and they are very racey seats. Comfortable but you need a 30 wasit or smaller to fit in it. I now have Roadster 2 which are AWESOME, there a new product line which is much higher quality. The Sparco you will be looking at would be an Evo 2. Its the largest base seat you can put in a C5. The seat is much more comforming than your sport seat. If you like to take corners hard this will hold you still no slidding at all. But, the seat is not as comfortable as the stock but you do get used to it over stock you will only want racing seats. If its a DD the material will only last about 1 year depanding on how hard you are on them. There street seats are more durable than there competition seats and will last longer.
Picture of my new Roadster 2s.

well maybe I will get warranty to cover the stock ones and then have you guys throw in the 5 point harness with the other work. Though I will stop over to see what your local distributor has before making a final decision.
Thanks Jon. I saw your seats in the other post and that was one of the reason I thought I might go that way.
It is not a DD so the seats should last a bit. I figure they would hold my in better and I would like the warp around feeling that they provide.
BTW is that a x-box behind your seat?
I have been sponsored by Xbox for about 3 years, the Xbox is under the N20 you see in the trunk, it motorizes out. Stangklr and I are going to turn it into a computer. Take up Chris at ECSs offer. The 5 point harness is awesome and if you wanted to see a 5 point along with the Roadsters go look at Dougs Vert, best of both worlds.

I understand there would be limited space to recline. Besides the obvious, what seperates the reclinables from the one pieces that prohibits this..?
I have to head out, but spoke with Sparco many times to try to make one work. Its the actual mech. device that tilts the seat. The base is only so wide, when you add the part that turns to make the seat go down the base becomes even wider in order to work. I did see one person make a reclineable Sparco but he spent TONS of $$$ to convert it to work.

Those things are beautiful. Looks like the Caravaggio but w/o leather (which I prefer; leather just makes u slide). About a thousand dollars less.
I am gonna drive an hour and a half to the local retailer to take a look at these. I'm pretty sure I am gonna go with them.
I have a 36 waist and if its a lil snug, I have been looking for an excuse to lose weight anyway.
Might want to call them first. The Roadster 2 that I have were the first pair in the US 3 months ago. Not sure if they are available yet. So I would say just call before making a long trip.
The Caravaggio is the same as the Roadster, they just layer it in top grain leather.
