Does anyone know who makes the battery that has a reserve switch so when the battery goes dead you turn the switch, and it gives you enough power to start the vehicle. Thanks

Maybe if you call chevy they can tell you.The new c6 has that option if the battery goes dead their is a switch in the glove compartment which can start the car if their is any juice left in the battery since the car uses no key to start it.

The only thing GM has is the AC Delco that comes in the C5. But I remember a couple of years ago a different battery manufacturer came out with a battery with a **** you turned . If the battery went dead you just turned that **** and it had a reserve to start the engine. Just cant remember who made it, now that I am looking for one.
Thanks anyway.

Sears used to sell it in their Diehard lineup, but had too many broblems and failures with it, had a back up and a security feature, and sold for about $150. But they don't make them anymore.
