Phazer radar jammer...??

It is made by Rocky Mountain Radar. I forget the model but have one of their radar detectors that that jams radar. (I think it's called a Phantom)
The detector is suppose to jam radar and sends out a "radar detector, detector frequency" so that places like Va. where radar is illegal cannot supposedly use their "radar detectors" to see if you have a detector.
I have never been able to prove if the jamming part works but this last year, I read an article that tested RMR's products and they said that the closest thing that their products have to do with jamming is the words on the box...
Anotherwards, it doesn't work. (according to the independent testers)
However, the radar detector works excellently. I have it in my truck and it has saved my azz NUMEROUS times. It doesn't get tested but I rely on it as much as I rely on my 8500 X50 in the vette.

If it's made by Rocky Mountain Radar, then I don't think it really works. I had purchased their Phantom 2 and phantom 3 and never saw any real results with them. I think they are considered passive radar/laser jammers, and for it to perform to any extent the jammer must be an active jammer. I never have had a ticket with any of them or without them, so I can't say for sure if they really work or not. I have seen tests on the internet that says they don't work at all.
