My car is an 04 an only has 700 miles and my rotors are completely rusted. I can't stand looking at them anymore. Are there any out there that will stay shiny without cleaning or polishing them. Thanks

Only 700 miles in a year, drive it and stop looking at it they will clean up. The hat part is painted from the factory and I can't imagine that part rusted.

rust after washing, but a quick drive around the block cleans them nicely. I though I was bad after my 1st year with only 2900 miles, but 700. That's a disply model.

Only if you never drive the car in wet weather. My Z06 is 2 years old with only 2400 miles on it and my rotors are not rusted. They car completely stock and the car is not driven in the rain.
How do you figure? I enjoy the car as much as anyone that puts 15,000 miles a year on theirs. Cars don't have to be driven to be enjoyed. I drive it just about every weekend and keep it looking like new. When it's paid off I will drive it more often.
I work 60 hours a week so I only get to drive my car on weekends, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy it as much as the next person. In fact it makes me enjoy it more because every time I drive it feels like the first time.

I understand where you are coming from...I feel the same way but if you do not drive it more it will eventually develope problems...its like keeping a race horse in the barn most of the time...the horse will get fat and eventually develope other problems..your vette will rot if you don't give it more circulation...cars that sit all the time develope leakes and all kinds of stuff...at least take it on a long drive every weekend...I have had my '04 a year and 3 months and have only put on 5200 miles :o ...but 700 miles is abusing the poor thing

You can get some that are zinc washed - it helps them resist rusting. Or you can use some caliper paint on the hats of the rotors to keep the rust off.
