CD Changer Success
Found the answer to the scratchy discs. I used Sony brand CD-R 700 MB and burned the songs at 4X using Nero. They sound as great as can be expected from a Bose system.
Hope this helps.........

Now it plays burned discs with no problem? I'll have to try this, mine has been giving me fits with burned discs. I have resorted to playing them in my dash instead and only using store bought discs in the back

I've also had better luck with blank media that is anything except silver tinted.
I have had 100% success with the gold toned disks - and with the lower burn speed you mentioned.

I use cheap *** Comp USA disks. It is the speed you burn at.
I have been buring disks for 10 years and never had a problem with the brand, just the software and the speed.
