Default Stupid Question ? Change Screen Name instructions

Just changing my password almost drove me crazy and I've never had good luck trying to change Screen Name. Now that I'm selling my NX-175 kit, I think I'll drop the NitroVet for a more logical SN.

Can somebody tell me the steps to change SN ?

Also, I see a option at the top of the forums that says "Thread Starter" ? as opposed to "New Thread" Also the option of "Display Modes", I don't want to end up locking myself out. Also I'd like to not have to enter SN and Password each time I fire up the CF Page to post,(maybe that;s required to post ?)

I guess I have been really lazy about navigating around to see what's what. It just seems there are so many interesting posts that there's never enough time to just look around.

Thanks in advance.
Peace
Steve

I think you have to have a mod change your screen name for you.

You won't have to sign on every time if you accept cookies and check the box "remember me" when you sign on the first time.
