Flowmaster sound?

Flowmaster sound?

Has anyone heard the flowmaster setup for the C5? I am thinking about buying them off someone but I really don't know what they sound like. Any comarison to stingers, corsa, or magnaflow would be helpful. Thanks

I had em, they were a little bit louder than stock, sounded a lot better at WOT. No comparison to the stingers I have now. The stingers rumble a lot more.

My buddy has the flowmaster and they dont sound good at all. I love my Corsa

I had flowmasters on a C3 and they had a horrible resonance problem at certain RPM's. I would check out a local Corvette club or show to hear different types of systems.

Nice low rumble, not obnoxious, sound good on WOT.

If you're looking to turn heads like a Harley, they're not for you.

I have them. They were on the car when I bought it and they are pretty load. The car sounds like an Indy car at WOT. Nice rumble at idle. Can be a little too loud on the highway as it gets hard to talk to a passenger. The car does have heads / cam, headers and no cats. I'm sure the set-up contributes to the noise level.
