00 FOB Issues
My FOB stopped working a few months ago and I thought it just needed a new battery. So I got a new battery for it, went through the sync up process outlined in the manual and it worked....for about 10 minutes. Somehow my FOB loses sync after 10 minutes. Has anyone had this problem? Is this a problem with the FOB or the reciever?

same problem w/ my 2000 frc. Tried to re-learn the fobs also, but it only lasted for a couple of minutes. Tried some of the other suggestions posted on the forum before I gave in a purchased a new one from Ecklers. which is cheaper than getting it from the dealer. The only downside was that it took about 2 weeks to arrive. Have had no problems since. Good luck!

Villian, that thread was great. I just popped open my fob and looky looky 
upper right component had 2 of the solder joints cracked off. I will bring it in to work tomorrow and solder it right up. If you are ever in Austin I owe you a beer, you just saved me ~$50.
