Hi,
Just sold my 1956 Chevy that I spent a couple years building in order to fufill a lifelong dream ...yeh, you guessed it...CORVETTE!!!
So I'll be droppin in from time to time and asking some real noob questions, hope ya'll don't mind.
So noob question #1) I have found a '01 vert 14,500 miles white w/red interior. The guy says that the white/red combo package is rare and personally I have never seen one. I want to know if someone can tell me where I can find some information on how many cars were made a certain year and what kind of interiors, what colors and etc.
Thanks for your time and I hope to become an "Official" member soon.

Welcome to the forum. I have heard that the white/red color combination is somewhat rare, but really don't know the number of cars that were produced with it. Personally I think it is a very color combination - I had a '95 Vette that was white/red and liked it.
I must admit, I don't have an answer on the numbers, but I am sure you will find someone who can answer that question. White with red interior is a nice find, but how rare is it? I don't really know.
Good luck in finding what you want and be sure to get what you want. If you go with an A4, make sure it has the 3:15 rearend...that my friend is a piece of advice I will recommend.
Not sure were to find out the number of white with red interior. However you can see the number of white and the number of red interiors produce at this site. http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/...001/index.html
That combo might not be too common, but I don't think it is rare enough to get any kind of premium.
GM only publishes final numbers for each option by type of car - coupe, vert, and FRC/Z06. They do not publish numbers for various combination of options like you are wanting. Probably the best you can do is to use extrapolation and the final production numbers to come up with some estimated number for the white/red vert combination for 2001.

artic white and firethorn here . I will say i love the color of everything in it except the carpet. I'm working on trying to find some reasonable black carpet to change out into. I might also look into changing the lower moldings along the doors because its much darker maroon than the nice subtle red of the seats and door/dash highlights.
