Would anyone have the chance to show a photo of their upgrade rotors please? I have stock and would like to upgrade my rotors to something a little more eye catching...can you help?
Thank You.
I put a small upgrade on my 2000. I bought the POWERSLOT and they have a nice finish, slotted for cooling and are not a bad little rotor and look good. I wish I had some pics...I will see what I can dig up.
JLA, Thank You for the quick response and photo !! Could you tell me the specific name of those...slotted, crossed, drilled etc. ??? Thankx.
Whoops....Forgot. Rich will paint the hats for $30 or just clear coat them yourself before installing. Also, I'm no mechanic, but you can do them yourself. Surprisingly easy.
JLA, sorry to act like such an idiot but what are the "hats" you said should be clear coated...the brake calipers or something different?
Thankx again.

The hats are the protruding round part of the rotor that are directly behind the wheel where the pads don't make any contact. Do a search here for "hats", "painted hats", etc...You should find a lot of posts.

I've had Rotorpros on for about a year now and love them. Go to their website and see the benefits of not having too many holes. And the price around $250 for 4 is a bonus considering the quality!
They are zinc washed and cadmiumed I believe.
Rich is a very hands on type of guy and eager to please; by the way the paint job he did on the "hats" was EXCELLENT and still looks like the day I got 'em!
