hi, any c5 zo6's running ariund wit 4.10 gears....if so how does it work?....thinking of converting my a4 with 4.10 to zo6 6spd setup...would appreciate any input!!!
Works great. You get more wheelspin from a dig or light with street tires but overall fun to drive. Be sure to get sticky tires light nitto 555 r2's and that will make a big difference. On the drag strip they are great but again you need dr or slicks to get traction and take advantage of the gears. Fun to drive with.
I have the 4.10 ratio in my 03 6 speed and IMO this is the way to go. At 60mph it turns about 1750 rpm at 70 it turns about 2000 rpm, the power is always ready.
I run 4.10s on my "01 ZO6. I started with the stock 3.42, then went 3.73, then 3.90 (the only unit with a mechanical failure) and now the 4.10. I should have started with the 4.10 in the beginning.

Been there done that for about 10K miles on my old bolt on Mill Y 03 Z and its a gas but traction on the street is a joke unless your running drag radials as i have major wheel hop for the first two gears. She did pulll like a BEAST though once she was up and runnning and it was alot of fun.. Howver, i do believe it is too much practical gear for a Z unless you really utilize the stickies.
