Sorry if this has been covered a hundred times before but I need the latest information. I'm ready to replace my OEM pads and would like your input on which pads to use. Seems there are a lot of choices but no squeeking and less dust are a must. No hard racing, mainly street use. I will re-use the stock rotors. Any thoughts on this. Thanks
Well, there really are so many options. The final decision is dependent upon your needs and goals: Is this a daily driver, or, track driven etc.? In regards to dust: It has been found that the alternative ceramic pads produce less dust overall.
However, before you decide, do a search on this forum. And, do look up fellow CF member "Evil Twin" (ET). ET has a wonderful set of CCW wheels that are complimented with the nicest and most beautifully maintained Baer Eradispeed two piece rotors on this planet (well, at least on this forum). It is just another thought that you may perhaps consider while deciding upon new brake pads. Happy Corvetting, Blu!
