Where's the wave
I drove 5800 miles in the Mercedes Benz on vacation and waved at vets, but got zero in return 
.. Pehaps they wondered why a Mercedes was waving,, even if the lisc plate has "my other car is a corvette" 
and the rear pass. door has corvette club logo.
Folks it is ok to wave at "other" cars.
Now I suppose you wonder why the MB? I drove over roads in construction sites and didn't want all that mud on the vet.. The wifes' MB can was easier.

Just wave, it's the friendly thing to do. Alot of people aren't watching other cars. I know I don't pay much attention to any car except a Vette or a exotic.

Atleast you were in an MB and didn't get return waves. I sometimes wave while in my Vette and seldom get any response. Now I mostly just wave if I'm waved at but usually don't initiate it. :

Waving from Michigan, drooling over other Vettes. Most of the drivers here always wave. Then again I am looking for VETTES not other cars. I do get a lot of thumbs up from non Vette drivers. 
I smile and remember the days I would have a sheer heart attack seeing my dream car go down the road

I also own a bike, and as many of you know, waving can get tedious at times. To the point where some folks just mount a rubber hand on a springy thing to thier handlebars, that way everyone gets a wave!
