Default Will be adding memory and telescoping steering soon. Need help!

After doing all the searching I could on the forums I found that it is infact possible (and has been done) to add the complete memory option and telescoping steering to a car that does not have those options. I have PM'ed a few people that have done it and have not heard back yet. I will be buying my parts through Gene at Karshop.
Basically my only road block is that the wiring I will need to connect the memory door switch, door control module, telescoping steering, and memory seat track module will not be in my 99 hardtop that does not have memory or telescoping steering. For now I will not be adding the memory/electrochromatic mirrors.
I asked Gene at Karshop if there would be anyway to get the wiring harnesses/bundles from a car that has the options. If this is not possible what do you guys think the best way of getting everything wired up would be? Does anyone have wire diagrams or know where to get them?
Just looking for some tips from guys that have done it.

Thanks very much,
JT

Hmm... interesting.. I was curious about adding these options to my 99 FRC as well. I don;t know if anything needs to be changed in the BCM for the stuff to be on the DIC... hmm.. keep us posted..

Thats a good question. From searching everyone that did it said no changing or reprogramming of the BCM is required. I dont know how it would come up on the DIC then maybe after the memory control module or door control module is added into the system it automaticaly comes up on the DIC? Cant think of anything else.

Be sure to take pictures during the installation for a How-To when you're done. Good luck

DO NOT ADD THE MEMORY FUNCTION TO YOUR CAR. It is the WORST feature of my car, hands down. Both in my Cadillac, and my Corvette. This feature is not as practical as it should be in theory, and will annoy you to no end.

I have this option in my vette and never use it. I'm the only diver so the seat never changes. When I get out of the car I tilt the stearign wheel up and that is all.

I treid the memory seat thing once. When when you get out the seat moves back and the stearing wheel goes in. What a waste, it took for ever to come to the correct postiotn, and it was just as easy to get out as if I left it in the same spot I use for driving.

But I'm the only driver of my car, so my opinion might be differant.
