Last night about 15 mins before I got off work, me and a friend of mine decided that we would do some burn-outs in the empty parking lot. I told him that this would only be my second time because the first one I did was from another parking lot on my other job. Anyway to make the story short- I tried a few times and I could not get the tires to spin long enough to even produce a small pile of smoke. Traction control off, my foot on the brake lightly while pressing on the gas pedal and releasing my foot off the brake. I mean the tires would spin for maybe a few seconds then it would catch traction and blast me off. THe parking we were at was asphalt but it's not black anymore more like grayish because it is old, and it has a lot of loose gravel, could that may have been a factor because the asphalt has little or no tar? Or am I doing my technique wrong?

Week before last washing the daughters car (being a good dad), two teenage boys were doing burnouts in the water pooling outside the wash bays. Not too bright on one kid, standing to the side of the drivers pickup, holding it in place, but they were doing awesome burnouts! Little S10 pickup, Extreme series, but they would just sit there power standing, burning off the tires. Just an observation.
