High pitched sound
There is a high pitched sound that is coming from the rear of my Vette some times.I think that it could be the fuel pump.This sound is there when I have about three quarters tank of fuel and I have heard it even below a half tank.The sound is not there all the time but you can hear it pretty good when the car is stopped.Engine speed does not make the sound any louder if you rev the engine. Can anybody shed any light on this problem?

Another possibility
On the car that I just bought..Got a "service engine soon" light and began to hear that high pitched buzzing/whine sound from the rear. The sound pitch changed when I apply the brake pedal. Took it in today. Defective module that controls the ABS among other things. The dealer is paying for the fix.. $1200.
