Stopped at Jeff's shop on the way to work again today to check on the progress and took some quick pics before leaving.
Mark was airbrushing the hood flames when I got there but stopped long enough to let me get some shots. He's doing an awesome job with the flaming. These two guys are the best!
Check out the small, faint ghost flames he added to the C5 emblem on the front fascia. Those were a great surprise and added a nice finishing touch.
Sorry about all the glare in the photo's, these were taken in the paint booth with all the lights on
That's going to be some machine you've got there. On my way home from work I go by a body shop on Clark Line and it looks like a black vette sitting in there. Is this yours????
Jim, In every update pic thread you've posted, my reply always began with "DAMN", as that has been the only word that comes to mind every time I see this incredible creation come to life.... so I didn't do that this time.
Absolutely stunning Jim! Not too much, not too little, just right.
I completely forgot about you getting the NCM hood. That is new right?
Anyhow, it's perfect and the car as a whole is just going to knock people off their feet.
Hopefully, I'll be able to catch a glimpse of it in person one day.
Thanks for the update.
Thanks David.... Yes the MCM hood is new. I ordered it from Vette Essentials and got it in just a few days ago.
Thanks again for the advise on the blackouts, they should be here in a couple days.
