Default blackwing and fuel comsumption

I accidently posted this in the C6 forum but not sure how I got there. Anyway. I installed the blackwing and a high flow power duct on Sunday. Since then I have noticed the fuel consumption seems to be much greater. I can go 15 miles and use 1/16 of the tank. I know that increased air flow will cause more fuel to be used but is this normal? Does the computer relearn something and this will go away? Any thoughts or experiences???

Your computer will adjust to the way it is now so your milage should stay the same as it is now unless you hammer down on it.

My right foot always seems to find the new found power of my mods - hence, my fuel economy suffers also...

After I installed my Blackwing, it did not notice any change in the fuel efficiency. But the response was much better. Maybe you just need to give the car time to learn the new air flow.
