As someone like me who came out of the import world would know, I have seen some ricey cars(I work with some of them, too!). But corvettes???
What do you all think it would take to make a corvette ricey? Any pictures??
I might get some flames for this, but I think its ricey when someone puts too damned many logos/badges on a car, reguardless of what type car it is. I've seen many vettes at shows that have logos and vette symbols on every single flat surface on the car.
The car has enough factory locations of the word "corvette" and the symbol without having to add any.
Just off the top of my head:
Stock locations:
front bumper
front liscence plate cover
hood liner
air-bridge
fuel rail covers
rear deck
rear bumper
door sills
steering wheel
air bag cover
front calipers
between the exhaust tips (upside down on the gray "trunk")
I actually think it will be cool to have all the logos removed. Everyone knows its a vette. Not like ferrari's or porches have logos everywhere. (I know I know... it's not a ferrari, but you get my point).

How dare you!!!
Just kidding I think you are the man. The car already has Corvette on it enough. Personally I removed my exterior badges and front logo. There are exceptions to the rule though. BG flushed in Corvette into his doors (or rockers can't recall) and that is awesome because it is a true modification.
Corvette is just like any other car. Any customized car should have class, style, and personallity. Gawdy is out the door. Picking up a catalog and ordering every bolt on/stick on part in the book is rice and not really custom since so many people do it. Style and class or so very important.
I customize cars for a living and my personal favorite is when a car has been modified but people are not really sure if it has been. When someone walks up to a car they own and scratch their head trying to figure out what is different. Then they see it and they are overwhelmed. That is what I prefer personally but I do like to look at cars that are just so not close to factory it is insane.
The last but not least most important item is the details. A custom/show car is all about the details. No matter how much money is put in the car if the details are not there it not an exceptional car.
I know I strayed a bit from the rice thing...sorry..lol.
Now EG, I try to be open minded and all (you know what an adult and a consenting car choose to do in privacy.. blah blah blah) but that damn "powered by Honda" sticker is just wrong! I cannot look
directly at it for more than a few seconds or I'll throw up.
This would border on"Vette abuse."

No, I think you summarized it up pretty good, and it's true, the good modifications are the ones that look like they came from the factory. Exposed bolts/screws, non correct fitment, clothes hangers, duct tape and spray paint/primer are definately not the way to customize your car.
How do you all feel about neon lights and LED's (ones that are properly mounted so you don't actually see the bulb, just the glow)? And this includes interior, exterior, and engine bay.
