Default Help W/ Clb Install

Going to install the CLB tomorrow on my 2001. I read all the instructions I could find and the job looks pretty easy. But, since I am not mechanically inclined, I need help with two questions:
1) How do you disconnect the wire harness for the Fog light/Trunk Release? I don't want to just try to pull it apart and break something.
2) Same question for the Temp Sensor wire harness.

All always, Thanks. I

The fog light/truck release is simple. There is a little clip on the connector that you have to slightly pull away from the connector so they can pull apart. You'll know it when you see it. I used a small screw driver to slightly bend that piece. The connector for the column lock interface is the same principle, just smaller.

As for the temp sensor, that's honestly a bitch. I hope you have small hands. If I remember correctly, you turn and pull it out. Be VERY careful not to damage the thermistor...it's a little ball on top of 2 wires. You'll see it when you pull the little dash plate off. Follow the directions for the temp sensor and dash removal VERY carefully.

Aside from that, you'll be fine. Just take your time, and don't rush through it.

Here's some good instructions :

I followed the instructions from the link above, but I did use the lighter connecrion supplied with my clb. The whole thing was a piece of cake. The force required to pull the first dash piece was a little more than I thought it would require, just take it easy, be careful, and you won't have any problems.
Good luck!
