Noisy Fuel pump
My fuel pump on my 2003 Vette emits an annoying high pitch sound and the dealer says the the pump is the problem.My car is under warranty.Is GM obligated to replace the pump because of the noise?Also is the noise considered a defect? LT

I have had to replace six of seven fuel pumps in our Chevrolet truck fleet some twice others three times. Those that were still under warranty were covered, those that were not GM split the cost with me. See my post under the question of fuel and the use of techron and fuel additives posted today.
