Default Replacing the A/C Control illumination with LED's

I had a few of the bulbs go out, and I only want to take this thing apart once. Is there any how'tos on what kind of LED's to buy, what resistors to use, and maybe how the circuits are run?

maybe a pic?

We've done a few of the panels, but not the A/C yet....talk to C5 kidd he knows more about the sutt you need, and Max01greenmachine for tips on the soldering and such.

You'll need 470 ohm resistors to drop the 12 volts to 3.3 Volts DC for the LED.

Have a look at this Tech Tip... https://www.corvetteforum.com/techti...=272&TopicID=1

Here are more step-by-step instructions with photos... http://www.vettechat.com/led/led.htm

Although it describes replacing the lamps in the door switch modules, the information should be relevant to the dash lamps also. I'm tempted to change out the guage cluster lamps with white LEDs also.

Good luck, and let us know how it goes.

Remember that there are some LIGHTS and some LEDS allready on the board...make sure you use the resistor on th elight and simply replace the leds on the others.
