I refused to allow the dealer to do the Column Lock Recall on my '02 vert 6 speed when I had the car in for warranty work and they simply had me sign a statement that I had refused the recall and I have not received any more recall notices.
The key thing to do is "refuse it", don't just ignore the notices. Once they notate in their computer that it has been refused they forget about it.
For those that don't know, there is nothing to this recall other than a reflash of your computer to shut down your fuel supply if the column locks. Install the CLB as I did and never worry again about the dreaded Column Lock. I don't want anyone messing with my car's computer.
