Went for my first (top down) ride in my new C5 Convertible and I have to admit: It Was A Blast! --- HOWEVER --- after 60 MPH there was very loud turbulence noise. My question is: Mid America sells a wind Buffer for 98-04 convertibles for $350.00 to $429.00. Are they effective? Do they they look OK? Are they easy to install?, Why do they have such a price range ? Are there any others on the market that you guys can recommend? Thank You.

I don't exactly know what Mid America is selling, but the vette net works great. I have lent mine several friends with convertibles & wives and they have all bought one. The new style is smoked plexigalss and looks like a factory piece. If the buffeting bothers you get one of these.

mine is from vetnet and it works great but you do get a rattle from it once in a while so you have to adjust it but it is all worth it in the long run.
you can get one to match the color of your car are just get a black one like i did to match the interior of the car.
Personally i like the wind swept feeling. Especially as I near triple digit speeds.
However, the better half does not like having her hair messed up. So i bit the bullet and paid the corvette tax for the Vet Net. It works as advertised and keeps the wife happy.
