Default Getting all the fluids changed?

I picked up a 02 z06 with 17000 miles and for my own "piece of mind" I was contemplating getting the following fluids changed out.
Oil
Oil filter
Air Filter
Trans. fluid
Diff. fluid
Coolant drain
Brake fluid drained and rebleed
Anything I'm missing?

I just don't like the idea of 3-4 year old fluid running through the system. What do you folks think? Oh and I'd have the dealer do it, not me.

Robert,
First off congrats on your new Z06!!! Opions will vary on this as most will say follow the manual.

I go with caution, and I am with you on most of the fluids. My car is in storage now do to another deployment, and most of what you mentioned was done on my 01 prior to me going wheels up. The tranny and diff are a bit out over board, but if you want to see what condition they are in, I think it is a good idea to see how the fluids are. You might want to go with something else in the trany while you are at it (not sure if the dealer will do it?). There is a good thread about RP below and I will be going the same route as several Z owners have had great results with it. Good luck and congrats again!

I change my oil every 3K, K&N air filter (clean occasionally) and am about to change the transmission fluid to Red Line D4 ATF in a few weeks. I should go ahead and change the Differential fluid all at the same time. I am at 32K so It is time and besides, it never hurts to change your fluid! Some guys have changed all fluids almost immideately after purchase so go ahead and change them all!

I did the exact same thing when I got my 2001 Z 6 months ago. I don't think you are leaving anything out.

If you went to a dealership, how much did that cost?

I went to a Vette specialist and can't remember what the cost was. They did additional work.

I have an '02 also, and it's common for the diff fluid to leak.

good idea to check the seals

I changed my tranny fluid to a synth, and I run a dot 4 on the brake fluid-but I do track my vette

congrats on the car, you are gonna love it
