1st to 4th light
Hey All, I know why the light comes on, my questions is I can still go thru the gears without skipping a gear..I bought the car used and wonder if the previous owner installed the gear skip module? How can I tell? Does the tranny make you shift 1st to 4th without the module?.......Thanks PhatZO6

If you can shift into 2nd gear from 1st with the Skit Shift light on, then the module is installed.
Without the module, when the light comes on, you are not allowed to shift into 2nd or 3rd.
