Leaf blower on C5
Well, I tried it for the first time after a drive-way wash yesterday. No more crying tail lights, or water shooting out from the side view mirrors.
I also noticed alot of water trapped behind the center caps on my wagon wheels.

I've tried that a few times and it does work, but I seldom wash my car anyway. (Never been in rain and always cover in the garage.

On the rare occasions when I have to wash it (rarely driven in rain) I use the leaf blower. There are about a million little spots where water hides. The side view mirrors that you mentioned are big culprits. Also, behind the fuel filler door and all around the cowl and rear glass. Done properly, the leaf blower/ waffle weave towel combo can't be beat. My neighbors think I'm totally nuts!
