Default performance upgrade

I have 98 C5 coupe M6 with
LG Headers
HAlltech Stinger
Corsa Indy
Short Shifter

With a 3k budget, what is my most bang for the buck with just bolt on not internal engine changes?

4.10 Gears with Harden output shaft - cost is under $2K and your car will be a lot quicker....

You might have enough money left to also upgrade the clutch....

I would say you have most of the bolt on parts you can get. The next step would be a heads and cam setup or a Supercharger.

I'm a big believer in gears.
With 6 gears you have a distinct advantage over an a4 in that you can split the ratios twice more.
Mine is an a4, from 2.73's to 3.42's was an amazing difference.
Although I do not think it's going to be as cheap for you to go this route as some believe.
500-700- labor - possibly more
output shaft - 250-300
Im pretty sure thr 4.10 carrier is about 300-500 more than the 3.42 carrier , after core charge.
I have a feeling you'll be right at the 3k mark said and done.

Call Nate at Corvette Garage and talk to him about one. You are about halfway there if you have 3 grand.
