Default What is she worth?

2002 Z06 Torch/Mod with A&A procharger installed and tuned by Andy putting down 550 RWHP. Exedy dual disk clutch fFLP long tubes. IForged 19 and 20's with 80% tread on Mich. Lowered with Eradispeed rotors. Custom stereo Alpine 7998 with Mcintosh 5 chanel amp and stealth box with 2 layers of dynamatt extream throughout the car. Cosmetically in very good condition and the thing flys. Trying to price this is tough with all the mods. I know I will take a beating on this but I am interested in real world predictions. Car has 18000 miles on it and only 3000 since the supercharger went on.

What do you guys think?

If you can find someone who wants these mods you should get $36K or $37K. Most buyers are looking for stock vehicles thinking you would not want the ProCharger unless you wanted to drive the car hard and they don't want one driven hard. Like it or not, you are limiting your market. Remember the old adage of supply and demand? Less demand usually means less value. On the other side; If you can find someone hot to trot for your mods ask an appropriate price. You can always come down but seldom can you go up.

No idea, but it does sound like a very nice car. Good luck in selling it.

obviously you'll start higher then give yourself some room to haggle. as you noted, you'll likely not get dollar for dollar for your mods. might start with kbb value for your z06 then start with 75% or 50% of the price of the mods. at least it's an empirical value on which you can intelligently start discussion. btw, what color? good luck. bub

Thanks for the thoughts guys, yes its my baby, and hard to think of selling her. She is just sitting in the garage more and more these days. New wife says it scares her.

The color is the torch red with the mod red interior.

Have a great weekend

My thoughts are you could part the mods out and sell the car in a more stock like condition and come out ahead. Let me know about that procharger.

Man thats a bummer, I can't imagine selling mine! My wife can take or
leave a vette, no big deal to her. But she knows how much I enjoy it so
she's very supportive and happy that I have it. Guess I'm lucky in that
respect!

Sounds like you've got a great vette there, good luck with the sale.

The "whipped" comment made me spit coke on the monitor. Too funny guys!

Honestly she never ever suggested I sell it, just looking at options. She is truly one in a million and I would do anything for her. I have been down the other road with a wife that was a PITA and god knows she shat a brick when I bought the car. I remember all the mid life crisis jokes. I was hurt more by the fact that MY life was supposedly half over at 29. Thank god that chapter is over.

Thanks again for all the constructive comments
