I guess I'll be ok throwing "driveability" to the wind and just going all
You have to hear steve's car the red FRC from the trip up there. And jeremy formato tuned it down at rev extreme idles with the A/C on even cold start no problem. SO driveability isn't really gone. JUST POWER IS THERE.

you've already got some nice headers, why not put them to use and get a decent heads/cam package. you can pick up some used heads or have yours ported for under a grand, few hundred for a cam and the rest for all the small installation parts and to pay the mechanic and a good tune..you could break 400rwhp IMO

Believe me, I'm on the fence on this one. I've already got a weak tranny so adding rwhp now is going to turn into a much bigger project in short time.

A possible future plan is to pay off the C5, buy a C6 and leave it stock (except for exhaust, duh), and mod the crap out of the C5; h/c, sc, etc. In that scenario I'm going to need the blower hood anyway since I much prefer the Magnusson.

It's always something....

In that scenario I think you'll end up with the A&A setup and the hood wont be required...if you really want to go all out

Michael, might be a good idea as my liver is "well adjusted" to my beer consumption, but the bladder is dead. You going to Carlisle?
