Default Wind noise driver side window

03 Z06 driver side weatherstrip leaks air into cab at approx 75 mph.

I also notice that when i wash the car some water finds its way inside as well in the same location.

Is this caused by faulty weatherstrip, or is there a window adjustment that will correct the window to weatherstrip seal.

Thanks for looking.

The tab at the top center that holds the window in may need to be adjusted in some.

There are rubber plugs on underside of door panel. If you pull them off there are male Torx heads on glass adjusting screws. You can move glass up and down at front and back and tilt in/out at top. I played with adjustments on mine because the drivers door didn't want to latch unless it was slammed. Less tilt at top allowed decent seal (no wind noise at 145 MPH) and easy latch. You will need a female Torx socket to turn screws.

Sorry,no pictures. It's in the service manual, but all you have to do is open the door and lay on ground and look up. The rubber plugs are easy to pull out and the function of the screws is pretty obvious as I remember.

I have the same problem. Nice info here. I've had mine fail at 150-160mph, scared the %$#@ out of me. Nice to know how to adjust it.
