Default honker and dynomaxx -- ???

i'm thinking about the calloway honker and the supermaxx system - long tubes, freeflow cats, and x-pipe, and keeping the stock z06 mufflers. got any ideas on what kind of power increases i might see? i'm thinking somewhere around +35 rwhp. am i high or low? anything else - what would be the biggest bang for the buck? i would like to do some bolt-on mods. comments...

TIA - JoeC - 2004 black/mod red z06

I saw in Vette I think the new Honker put over 35 RWHP but that was with a FRC making over 400RWHP to start with. Looks like a PIA to install IMO. Go with a nice easy to install TRIC, LT a good tune and be 390rwhp +

Good luck!!!
Dave

I have the exact setup you are talking about on my 02Z. Didn't have a before dyno when stock so I don't know what I picked up from the mods. I am very happy with both. The sound of the exhaust and the extra power put a smile on my face every time I drive it.

I went with the blackwing, supermaxx and xpipe with stock exhaust and went from 349 to 382 rwhp after my dyno tune. The sounds is great and the quality of the pipes is top notch - HP Performance in Mundelien said it was one of the cleanest/best fitting setups they've seen for the vette.

Default Effect of Intake Breather Doesn't Show UP on Dyno

I put on the LG LT's and the Callaway Honker. The dynojet said I gained about 57 rwHP. The Callaway or other intake that grabs RAM air is not likely to show on the usual dyno run. You can sure feel the RAM effect in the seat of your pants though.
