lookin at an '03 EB Z06 w/ 20k on the clock...looks like it has all options except mod red and chrome wheels. 1 owner, guy is asking $33,900 and seems pretty firm on the price. looks clean in the pictures, but i'm goin to look at it in person tomorrow. seem like a fair price?
I just picked up a 03 z w/ 24k for $30k, I do work at a dealer so that is wholesale but that does not sound bad. I had trouble finding nice 02's for $32-33k. I went with a 03 w/ miles so I had some factory warranty left and could not be happier.
$34K for an almost new car that can beat 99% of the cars sold in America and well into the future, gets great fuel mileage and can be serviced at almost any Chevrolet dealer. That's a screaming deal.

From the morning Denver paper:
2004 "low miles" $43K (Dealer Ad)
2003 Red/Black 3K miles $37K
2002 All Options 11K miles black $36.5K
If your Z is to be a daily driver and used frequently somewhere between the 2002 and 2004 model years highway mileage jumped from 28 to 33 tops. Perhaps this was when improvements were made to the fuel injection system midway in the 2003 year. At $3 per gallon this is nearly a difference of 50 cents a gallon savings.
20K seems a lot of miles to me given the habits of most Z owners. If the 2003 listed above is a dealer then certainly a lower price could be negotiated on it, making the one you're looking at a much lesser deal, all other things being equal. Good luck!
thanks for all the input so far. EB is by far my color of choice and so naturally that limits the selection i have. i have seen deals that are a little better than the one im looking at, but they have all been red, black, silver, etc. but for right now it seems like the general consensus is that this is a pretty good deal. thanks for the help
It sounds right on target for what I've seen. Check it out good then make him a fair offer. Nobody list for the price they will take. If you get it you will love it. Good luck
The polished wheels were available only (talking C5 Z06s now) on the 2004 Commemorative Editions. They were part of that package.
Chrome wheels were never an option on the Z06. Only "brake dust grey" was available from the factory 2001-2004. The only other wheel finish was the polished wheels on the Z16 Commemorative Edition Z06's as acrace stated.
