Worth the money even if you had to get a tune..Under very similar conditions I am running 4/10ths faster than my stock times!

Chris
chaase, don't you think a lot of the 4/10s could be accounted for with the tune. Just with a hypertech III and nothing else I gained 2-3 tenths. I know LS1 edit can tune better than the hypertech one size fits all. What portion of the gain do you think was from the Stinger?

I know that about 2/10ths came from the Halltech Stinger, as I was racing with it before I got the tune. I ran the next time with the tune about the same temperature(maybe a little higher, than previous runs) and I dropped another 2/10ths.

I know it can be hard to gauge gains, but mine are pretty well documented by the drag strip. I actually have my time slips for non-believers (I am not suggesting you are one)

I was running 13.4-13.5's stock (normal for the car)
13.2-13.3's with the Halltech
13.0XX after the tune.

Sounds about right to me. Sounds like the thread starter is going with the stinger.
