Default Speedometer Not Working After Guage Bezel Install !!!

Speedometer Not Working After Guage Bezel Install !!!

I had to remove the guage cluster to fix the silver bezels that came loose. Does anyone know why my speedometer no longer works? Do I have to reset it? Did I royally screw up something major? Is it simply a loose coonection? All other guages work properly. Too late to rip the dash apart again.

Thanks for the help.

sad to say but your gonna have to rip the dash apart again. Sounds like a loose connection. You wont know for sure until you do it

Since the gauges are liquid dampened ... maybe the way you laid the cluster caused something to go kaplooy. Hopefully, it's just a bubble or something ... Hope you get it fixed.

Check your connections first.

Tried reconnecting the plug in back of dash without fully removing cluster. Still the speedo does not work. Any ideas? Thanks.

with above. connection in back is hard to get to. Unplug and reconnect. Question? Does either speedometer in dash or heads up work, or are both dead?

Goos luck

Ok looks like I figured it out and will fix it tonight. Could not see it last night, but the speedo needle is stuck under the resting pin. Can I be the only one this happened to? Doubt it. Thanks for everyone's help, much appreciated!!
