Squeaky brakes
I have origional pads and rotors with 24K miles on them... They have plenty of meat left but after a few days after cleaning them they squeak, sometimes sooner. I used brake cleaner and purple power both effective for a short while. Any suggestions?

If your brake pads and braking system are in good condition and you experience squeal just as you are almost stopped, this is usually the brake pad vibrating against the rotor/caliper, causing the rotor to ring like a bell.
This was the case w/ me and I applied some anti-squeal coating to back of pads (sticky/tacky stuff) and it went away.
Good luck..I know it's irritating as h*ll.
