Default QUick body question
Is the C5 & C6 body Fiberglass? I am not sure, I have a C3 and know the answer but somebody is telling me the C5 & C6 are plastic?

No they are not it is a composite. Thinner, Lighter and Stronger than fiberglass

I don't know if plastic is the correct term some type of poly resin systetic stuff.

The C5/6 are fiber impregnated plastic. Not traditional fiber glass.

Is the paint in the resin itself or is painted on?

The body panels are SMC (sheet molded composite) for the most part with a few other materials in the mix around the car.

The color is painted on.

Most folks don't realize the front fenders are RRIM, just like the front and rear fascias.
