Default Need help on picking cam

Trying to decide on which came I should get. Need your guys help on deciding. This is what I am looking at. Open for other options.

G5X2 232/240 Duration & 595/608 Lift at 112 Lobe Seperation.
G5X2 232/240 Duration & 595/608 Lift at 114 Lobe Seperation.
G5X3 2??/2?? Duration & 600/610 Lift at 112 Lobe Seperation.
G5X3 2??/2?? Duration & 600/610 Lift at 114 Lobe Seperation.

What will the differance in the lobe seperation do for me? Will I need to fly cut my pistons to use these cams? Currently have stock heads but in future will be going with a ported head just not sure which one.

This is not my daily driver so it doesn't have to be mild. But don't want it to sound like its about to die like a real high lift cam equiped car at idle.

Currently have the upgraded intake Haltech Stinger, BBK 80MM TB, Fast 78mm intake. Future plans (near) LG LT, high flow heads,

Just put in the G5X3 with the 114 LSA and 205 AFR heads. Very good combination and very streetable.

why go with something smaller?

Did you have to fly cut your pistons to use the x3 cam?

Interesting question. I'm in excatly the same boat as C5Dreamer; I'm looking for a cam only and was wondering which cam to pick between G5X1, G5X2, or G5X3; emissions is not an issue. Whihc cam would deliver the most power without sacrificing driveability? I've heard that the G5X3 cam is too big for a daily driver! how true is this?

AFR heads is not option due to limtied budget.

As a daily driver the G5X3 would be fine, but remember that the car is different. You will have to get use to it. The car is louder and the car will rock a bit. At first I thought what the heck was I getting into, but then you become use to it and it becomes fun. I drove it in NYC last weekend without any problems...

You do need to sit in a car that has a cam to feel it first....

LGM installed mine. Yes, they fly-cut my pistons. They said the valves
run really close to the pistons, they do it as insurance!
