I run non flats but have a can of pressurized tire sealer in trunk. In most cases this would get you to a tire dealer. My insurance company only charges $3 per year for towing.
Is it necessary to stash a jack in your vette if you go non-runflat? Plug/commpressor kit yes.
I just changed to non-runflats a couple of days ago. Yesterday I purchased a small 1 1/2 ton scissor jack that fits in the middle rear compartment. I also have in there some needlenose vise grips, t-handle plug kit, small cig lighter a/c, wheel chock, flash light and also a hockey puck for lifting. I also need to put some gloves and maybe a small tarp or something to kneel or sit on. Whatever you can think of that would make the process easier. Hope this helps.

Be careful...Tire sealers i.e. Fix a Flat witll ruin the tire pressure sensors.
I bought my Mecedes lift from C5 Fredrick in Germany. He's a forum member. Cost is $50 shipped to your door in about 5 weeks. He takes paypal. This little jack fits in my right rear compartment in my coupe.
I have non-runflats and this is my emergency repair kit. Electric scissors jack, tire plugs (the best quality ones) wire cutters to snip plug end off, gloves, knee pad, paper coveralls, flash light, road flares, folding four way lug wrench. It all fits in the center compartment except the jumper with the air compressor. I suggest getting a small RV tire inflater.
I have one of Frederik's jacks - very compact and stores hidden in one of the rear side bins. I also have a battery/12V compressor along with a plug kit with the various tools and disposables.

This jack is more stable with "claw" footing and it's electric:

Dude! You've got my jack! I bought it strictly for the vette, but now uses it all the time in my garage. (don't need no stinkin 2x10 'cause that baybe is LOW!) The plug kit fits inside the case and I have a mini compressor to inflate the tire.
